Today, premium in-game currencies are purposefully tricking consumers and take a big toll on children. Companies are well aware of children's vulnerability and use tricks to lure younger consumers into spending more."

In addition to Epic Games, Electronic Arts, and Roblox, the complaint also targets major players such as Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT)'s Activision Blizzard (NASDAQ: ATVI), Mojang Studios, Supercell (majority-owned by China's Tencent), and French gaming giant Ubisoft.
